Takeuchi is a character in the Mars Red series. He is a D-class vampire and mad scientist with an immortal brain.

He has two red earrings on each ear, and two black piercings under his right eye. He wears a reddish-orange collared shirt, accessorized with a gold medallion. Suwa is a character in the Mars Red series. He is a Corporal of the Imperial Japanese Army and a C-class vampire who has lived since before the Edo period.
Infected sometime during the Azuchi-Momoyama period while age 14-16. Suwa has little memory of being human and chose his own name following his infection. He named himself Suwa because his only memories left as a human was when he was playing by the Suwa shrine as a child. Suwa lived through the wild era and has to suppress his instincts using a mask that hides the odour of blood. Shutaro Kurusu is the primary protagonist of the Mars Red series. He is an A-class vampire and rookie soldier of the Imperial Army of the Empire Japan. As a vampire, Shutaro is a member of the Code Zero squad of the Kongo Iron Soldier Plan.

Shutaro is 25 years old at the age of infection. Due to his status as one infected with the vampire virus, Shutaro becomes the most important person in the Kongo Iron Soldier Plan, the cornerstone of Japan's diplomatic strategy.

Shutaro was originally a wholesaler in Nihonbashi with his parents. He grew up well and doesn't have the appearance of a soldier. Due to this, his minse is different than that of his fellow soldiers. Yoshinobu Maeda is a character in the Mars Red series. He is the Captain of Code Zero and the “most powerful human”.
Lieutenant Colonel of the Military Police of the Imperial Japanese Army. Later, he became a colonel of the military police. He is Yamagami's classmate and is a "human" on the elite road. He is so young in appearance that it is hard to believe he is Yamagami's classmate, and has a tall, muscular body. He is a heavy smoker. He has been on bad terms with Yamagami since their time at the Military Academy. He is quite a douchebag, and since Yamagami became infected, harassing him has become a hobby of his. He is the picture of calm and collected. He looks up to Lieutenant General Nakajima, who raised him, as if he were his own brother, and he has entrusted him with the Vajra Iron Troops Project.
