Reminds me of a popular yaoi, Death Note, known even outside of the anime fanatics' community. And while in Death Note it was alright, since Death Note was not written by Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle and Yagami Light and Lawliet L were not already world-wide known characters. But the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes *were* written by Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes *is* a world-wide known character, so this kind of an adaptation looks rather queer. 3) Historical accuracy. And no, I am not talking of some minor flaws, I don't really pay much attention to most details. The very basis of the plot of this anime is a total absurd. Authors took the XIX cent. Victorian Great Britain as an example of a medieval-like estate-based society, à la XII cent. France from poems of Bertran de Bòrn.
