Cons:
— Of the first years, only Kuroko and Kagame play, the rest are purely cheerleading. I don’t count one training game from the 20th series, because we weren’t shown anything in essence;
— All opponents behave like scourges in order to arouse more positive emotions and approval in the viewer after their defeat. An old time-tested trick (and a cliche as well). Another trick is the unusual hair/eye color that tells us that the character is at least a minor character. All third-rate Persians and extras have at most one distinguishing feature in the form of, for example, glasses or hairstyles. It's also kind of a cliché. But the main problem is that the viewer absolutely does not give a damn about everyone except the colored guys, because the rest of us are practically not disclosed in any way. This leads to a certain monotony of what is happening as a result, because the focus is always "colored", and the rest serve as storytellers;
— Aomine is shown to us literally as the god of basketball. What kind of imbs are waiting for us further in order to block this - it's scary to imagine;
— Over time, it starts to become boring, because there is no deep idea, truly unique / written characters, or a complex (that is, interesting) universe - the guys just go to the dream without any other "additives", sometimes meeting failures along the way. It is difficult to make something complex and serious out of an anime about sports, if at all possible. Luckily, the last 5 episodes are bringing back interest;
— The outcome of the matches can be determined in the first minutes of the series. I foresee that the players of the Generation of Miracles will once again unite and assemble their own team, this time along with Kagami. They will go to the world level and fight against the same USA, from where Kagami returned. And judging by the strength of Aomine, each player will awaken the Sharingan;


Minor cons:
— It's subjective, but I don't like introducing something or someone without a single hint of their existence earlier for the sake of a sudden "power boost". This Teppei came out of nowhere, but is personified as a player stronger than Kagami;
— Maybe I misunderstood something, but in the anime, it was said that the Seirin team only existed for a year by the first episode. However, the coach said that they had fought the "kings" already as many as 10 times. The tournament is held twice a year - in summer and winter. Some kind of inconsistency, it turns out;
— Still, sometimes some Persians seem to just disappear. For example, here are two in the center of the field - they are bypassed and then they calmly score the ball without resistance. The other three players are not even shown.


In the end, this is a simple anime about two "heroes" who must defeat each "boss" in the gym. Don't give up, don't be afraid to rely on others, but above all improve yourself, and if something doesn't work out, just find a different approach. All this is seasoned with quite epic "battles", although not without its drawbacks. It is these "battles" that will have to be watched for 70% of the anime season, which is why they start to become boring, because the hands are tied by the "sports" category.
After the series, the 10th interest in anime declines and almost reaches zero by the 20th series, which serves as a breath of fresh air, diluting the atmosphere and returning interest in what is happening. In the end, we are given the best "fight" of the entire season and are given intrigue to continue.

Basically, the main idea of ​​the title has not changed. The animation has become better, although there were repetitions of entire segments. The soundtrack also seemed better, though not by much. I began to become attached to the main chars, but I still do not care about Teppei and on the rest of the second years, because far from everyone can understand Teppei's problem (his trauma is a shame, of course, but in general, idc about him), and the rest of the team were essentially forgotten towards the end. Opponents are still the same bastards until they are defeated, which, in my opinion, is a small minus (apparently the creator thought that otherwise it would not be interesting to watch). A certain monotony also remained, but, as I assume, this is inherent in all sports anime to one degree or another.

First 5 episeds are quite bad, but after them it gets pretty good. It's still overrated considering it has such a large fanbase.

No good music, no good characters, no good animation, no good worldbuilding.
It's just average in everything.

I liked the visuals and the fact that the plot is not so predictable.
The first season gave us only bits and pieces of information about the world after the great disaster. More attention, it seemed to me, was given to the development of several characters. Anime combines both elements of dark mystery and humor.

Tenma is ready to shoot Johan, but some random drunk from the street does it instead of him.
Johan's motive is absolutely stupid. Yes, he has seen all sorts of shit, but it's still not clear why he kills those who know him. We're told it's because he wants to commit the perfect suicide, but that sounds dumb.
As a result, Tenma and Nina for some reason forgive the killer, although he killed at least 30 people there, and several of them were good friends of the main characters, and the doctor saves his life again. In other words, Johan is again surviving a bullet wound to the head.
Some time passes and Tenma finds the twins' mother and learns their real names. It's just that they don't tell us. And this is a big moment, because a lot was built on the fact that the Monster does not have a name.

Then they throw us another question: who did the mother of the twins decide to give for the experiment, because even she confused the twins. Which one she didn't need. A very slow start and about a hundred fillers after the Sasuke arc lowered the rating for this anime. Fortunately, you don't have to watch them now. The rest of the anime is very good.

Unfortunately, in the last major arc of Naruto there are a huge number of shortcomings, oversights, and other inconsistencies. Although even before that, there are several controversial points. However, the enjoyment that I got from watching, from all these epic and touching moments, from life lessons, from the most gorgeous animation (insane choreography) in the main battles and from the antagonists, which are ambiguous in a good way, and OSTs, covers most of the cons for me.

So in my heart it's 11/10, but I can't judge anime only by enjoyment I recieved from it. Since now you can skip all fillers, animation is OK most of it's time, and considering all the flaws, I would rate it around 8/10. It has its lows, but overall it is a great show.

If you rated this show lower than 6/10 - shame on you, because you are not mature enough to see through the surface and embrace the greatness of this show. I am talking about both parts of the season one.
The only argument I've seen it's that the main character is a pervert. Yes, and what of it? Like, really? He is changing, he is growing, he tries to live a new life, and step by step he is doing it. It's tragic that there are so many stupid people who really thinks that this show is overrated and rate it lower that 6.
You know, as they say, if you are trying hard to prove to everyone that you are not gay, and tell that you hate them, then in fact you are a latent gay, you are just afraid to admit it. It's the same story here. Do you hate this show because MC is a pervert, and that's the only reason you're willing to give it an undeservedly low rating? Well, it looks like you're just afraid that someone will associate you with MC otherwise. You are afraid that someone will find out the truth, that you are the same pervert. Otherwise, I just don’t see any reason to give this anime a low rating when it has absolutely everything: great animation, great art, great music, interesting characters with development, one of the best relationship development, interesting world structure, and interesting plot.

I didn't like how they adapted the scene when "she" founds Rudeus in episode 4 - too much fanservice. They could use this time to show us Sara's perpective, for example.
The art suffered a lot compared to the first season, which is sad. There are some good drawn scenes tho.

while this anime is trying to tell us a realistic story, some things don't work the way they do in the real world. Spoilers: I find it strange that Kiritsugu decided to kill his father so quickly. It didn't seem like he disliked him or anything. Second moment with Natalia on the plane. The planes definitely have some kind of emergency exit for the cockpit crew. Most likely there are parachutes there too. Drown the plane, and save yourself by parachute or just jump into the water.
